Ormskirk lies at the distance of 24.2 Km on the south-western side of Preston.
Ormskirk stands on sloping ground; upon a ridge’s side. The highest point of the ridge is at an elevation of 223 feet above the sea-level; at center of ‘West Lancashire Plain’. Moreover, it’s being described as one amongst the planned boroughs that had been laid out during the 13th century.
