The Peterborough Museum and Art Gallery consists of a collection of around 200,000 artefacts and objects which represent the culture of the city. An unusual mix which includes products from the pottery industry, marine dinosaurs and collection of manuscripts is displayed here. It also holds exhibitions and guided tours.

Another excellent place worth a visit is the Newark Air Museum, which holds an exhibition of large, impressive aircrafts in its large hall. Aircrafts like Hastings, Safin, Vulcan and Varsity are displayed here.

Featuring an enthralling mix of colourful parades, music, and dance performances is the Peterborough Festival which attracts a crowd of over 100,000 people annually. It showcases Indian, Caribbean and European music with much fervour.

When in Peterborough, visitors should pay a visit to the Peterborough Cathedral which displays remarkable architecture and a beautiful chapel with a watchtower.
