Poole Harbour is the 2nd largest natural harbour, after Sydney, in the world.

There are ferry rides from the port to the beautiful island of Purbeck which is near.

Splashdown is a huge indoor water park which has 12 exciting rides including the Spacebowl, a learner’s pool, and spas, sauna, the Tennessee Twister, the Louisiana Leap and more.

The Waterfront Museum has exhibits which are two thousand years old and educate people about the history of Poole and its inhabitants.

Sandbanks beach is a clean and well maintained beach which offers world class facilities such as dingy sailing, wind surfing and other water sports. The 3 mile stretche of sandy beaches have trendy bars and offer fantastic views of the harbour.

Saint James Church is a huge parish church which is also known as the fisherman’s church and has an ancient tradition of bell ringing.

Pool Quay is a boathouse museum which has started in 1865 and tells the history of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution.
