St. Chad’s Church stands adjacent to market square. Such Parish church of Georgian-style had been built out of red sandstone. It can be traced back to the year 1094. During early spring, this church goes on to provide display of yellow and purple crocuses.

Poulton has been well-known for several drinking establishments, nightclubs, and restaurants; which are inclusive of The Bull, The Golden Ball, The Grapevine, The Thatched House, The Edge, The Old Town Hall, and The Cube. Nightclubs such as Club Monaco and The Residence are the two prominent nightclubs present in Poulton. The residence had been owned by Keith Harris, previous TV entertainer. Club Monaco was known by the name ‘The Hub’, Ampersand, or The peppermint Lounge before. It is located in Teanlowe Center.
