Leisure attractions are the award winning, restaurants, the different types of architecture and sport events which are the entertainment options which people come from many places to enjoy every moment. At tourist point, people come to visit two religious Christian sites namely the churches of St. John the Divine and St. Martin. The city has so many places to visit like New Hall of Ashton and the Art centre of Waterside which was opened in the year 1972. This Art centre is known as the cultural centre of the region and it houses a library, the Corridor Gallery, the Lauriston Gallery, a plaza and the Robert Bolt Theatre. The oldest building in Sale is the Eyebrow Cottage which was built in the year 1670. This building is a yeoman farmhouse made of bricks. The cenotaph is a memorial which has the statue of Saint George mourning on top of a granite pedestal.
