Salisbury: Attractions and more...
The Salisbury and South Wiltshire Museum is a storehouse of archaeological relics from all over the region. Visitors will find as many as ten galleries filled with award-winning displays like tools, weapons, ornaments and much more.
A delightful source of entertainment is the Lamer Tree Garden created in 1880, which has an interesting collection of elaborate buildings, evergreen trees and woodlands. The evergreen surroundings bring about a rich tapestry of colour in the autumn season.
Another exciting event is the annual Salisbury Festival which works on a different theme every year. The events included are orchestral concerts, movie screenings, art workshops, lectures and much more.
