Tourist Guide Seaton Delaval

Seaton Delaval can be described as a hamlet located in Blyth Valley district, Northumberland, England.

Seaton Delaval is the biggest amongst the 5 hamlets in Seaton Valley. Moreover, it’s site of ‘Seaton Delaval Hall’; i.e. one of the masterpieces completed in the year 1727 by none other than Sir John Vanbrugh.

Natives of Seaton Delaval belong to lower middle or working class; with huge regions of council reflecting mining heritage of the hamlet.

However, in the past few years, regions of ‘up-market housing’ have been constructed; as an outcome of proximity of village to North Tyneside and Newcastle Upon Tyne.

Methodists appear to be the biggest religious group all over Seaton Delaval. They are being served by Methodist/United Reformed Church standing on ‘Elsdon Avenue’.

Seaton Delaval is a home to ‘Procter and Gamble’ factory. Once upon a time, this organization was the ‘independent’ Shultons factory.

The population is around 7000.
