There are a variety of modes of local transport. The Railways, trams, local buses, and coaches are all well connected. The bus service in this place is very important for the national network. The train station is also equally important as it serves quite a lot of trains except the fastest moving ones. The major railway connects the city to places like East Midlands and London which in turn connects to Nottingham, Derby and Bedford. The train that commutes to London takes two hours. The passengers travel through the Midland Mainline, Virgin Trains, Central Trains, Trans Pennice Express and the Northern Railways.
