Tourist Guide Skegness:

Skegness lies on the Lincolnshire coast of the North Sea and is 63 kilometres from the city of Lincoln.

This seaside resort town has a population of 18,910 inhabitants according to the 2001 census.

The city is also known as Costa del Skeg or Skeg or Skeggy or Skegvegas.

Tourists can have a wonderful time in this town with its award winning beaches, children's adventure centres, the seal sanctuary and animal centre, colourful gardens, pubs and restaurants.

This is one of the best places to stay and offers good value for money too.

The town enjoys a mild temperate climate with low unpredictable rainfall.

The town prospered with the advent of the railway which connects the industrial Midlands with this town.

Had an enjoyable stay with visit to embassy theatre lovely visit. b@b very close to seafront so no need for transport once there, if there for a week or so make sure you check what's on at the embassy as they have some great shows on that could pass you by. Seafront beautiful and clean and very safe and the pleasure park very good value for money. Get the pass as a couple rides soon, adds up to price of the all day bracelet we found it great value for money

As a yank, who visits Skegness to hang out with friends, I really enjoy the feel of this quaint little town. There's a few arcades and some shopping about, and the old castle to check out. Its really nice if you want to get away from the fast paced city life. And, a plus for me is that its on the sea.

Always enjoy Skegness be it for a day or a week, love the shows at the Embassy and other clubs and pubs, plenty of places to eat, and excellent shopping centre. I am planning a holiday for next year.
