Southampton Maritime Museum is situated at Tower House at Town Quay Road and provides educational information about the history of Southampton. Guided group tours can be arranged for school children or tourists in advance. The museum remains close on Mondays and is open from ten in the morning to four in the evening from Tuesday to Saturday. On Sunday it is open only for three hours from 1pm to 4 pm.
