The beautiful seaside town of Southwold is situated in the East Riding of Yorkshire. The town has a population of 1,458 and lies at the origin of the Blyth River. Southwold town is located in the Eastern part of England. As a result, the village experiences more of a continental climate.
Due to such climatic conditions, this area remains cold for long periods of time. Since the town lies next to the seashore, the cold climate is moderated to some extent.
