Southwold is packed with many attractions for tourists. The Alfred Corry Museum is named after the famous lifeboat called Alfred Corry. The boat was built in 1893, and was launched 41 times. This lifeboat succeeded in saving 47 lives. In 1918, the boat was taken out of service. The museum explains the maritime history of the town.

Amber Shop and Museum, boasts that it is the only museum which receives more than 70,000 visitors every year. The museum holds a large collection of jewellery, carvings, artefacts and artistic objects. A vast collection of amber of various shapes, sizes and weights can be viewed here.

The church of St. Edmund is considered to be the oldest and largest church in the county. The excellent structure was built between 1430 and 1490. The church’s architecture should be seen. Tourists can enjoy a memorable water ride in the Coastal Voyager. This is a 9 meter long boat which possesses two V6 engines of 2500cc capacity.
