St Neots enjoys the pride of being the biggest town all over Cambridgeshire, England. It goes on to stand in ‘Huntingdonshire District’.
The name ‘St Neots’ has been derived after ‘Saxon Monk’ St Neot. He was the person whose bones had been housed in nearby priority pertaining to the identical name.
St Neots began to prosper with the advent of pilgrim trade. Moreover, market charter got granted to it in the year 1130. In eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, St Neots could prosper further due to railways, stagecoaching, brewing, and corn milling.
The present scenario is such that St Neots is a surviving market town. Contemporary town goes on to incorporate Eynesbury and 2 regions across river; i.e. Eaton Socon and Eaton Ford.
St Neots lies close to Bedford, Peterborough, and Cambridge. A1 connects this town through roadwith Peterborough on the northern side and London on the southern side.
