Stretford has a commercial centre called the Stretford Mall which is the main shopping centre, and was earlier known as Stretford Arndale. In the year 1998 the city had build up a leisure complex and Trafford Centre. The most ancient building of Longford Cinema is the landmark of the city and is renamed as Stretford Essoldo due to the change in the ownership of the place in 1950. The town has one more landmark known as the Road of Great Stone which gains this name from Great Stone.
In Trafford, Longford Park is the biggest park which occupies an area of about 54 acres. It also has a botanical garden, a pet’s corner and bowling greens. Children can enjoy playing in this area. Warwick Road and Talbot Road are the largest junction in the town beside this having great Town hall of Trafford. The people of this town use the airport, railway station and tram system for transportation.
