Sutton Coldfield: Attractions and more...
This is amongst the biggest urban parks all over Europe. The area consists of 9.001 sq. Km. Furthermore, it’s utilized as portion of course for Great Midlands Fun Run, which was sponsored by Sutton Coldfield Observer. ‘National Nature reserve’ has been the status assigned to it. It has also been regarded as a place of special scientific interest. Maney and Walmley are the two places separated by New Hall Valley. This separation has led to formation of Hall Valley County Park; that was opened on an official level on 29th of August, 2005. Its area consists of 160 acres. New Hall mill is located within. It’s amongst the working watermills located in West Midlands. The ownership is private but it can be made open to public on request. Pype Hayes Park lies on border between Erdington and Sutton Coldfield. A golf-course is also present.
