Totnes Castle is built on a hill surrounded by fortifications which enclose a high wooden tower.
The castle is a symbol of the Norman regime and provides beautiful views of the city, the Dart Valley and the Dart River from its ramparts.
Totnes Costume Museum is situated in an old Tudor building and displays a wide variety of costumes, accessories and dresses from the Victorian age. Various designers such as Art Nouveau dresses and Spanish Fortuny Mariano have their works featured here.
Woodland Caravan & Leisure Park is an amusement park for children, which features a number of rides, a play zone for children, a falconry centre and more.
Avenue Cottage Gardens cover an area of eleven acres with woodland gardens that were built almost two hundred years ago. There are rare species of flowers here like azaleas and rhododendrons. The venue also provides excellent views of the Sharpham house and the Dart River.
