The Umberleigh railway station is a beautiful destination for tourists to arrive. The railway station was opened in August 1854. The platform is clean and surrounded by lush green areas. The railway track gets covered with greenery in the rainy season giving some astonishing views.
The Cobbaton Combat Collection is a museum that holds more than 50 military vehicles and equipment. Most of the equipment belongs to the Canadian and British Military dating back to World War II. Apart from the military vehicles, there is a countless number of other items which were used in combat.
South Molton is located at about 6 to 7 miles from the village. The local museum is the place worth visiting. It includes items that recall the history of the village and other surrounding places. For instance, the documents of the Royal Charter date back from 1590.
