Tourist Guide Wareham

Wareham is an historic market town, named as the Wareham Town in the English county of Dorset.

This is a civil parish located on the River Frome, which is 8 miles to the southwest of Poole. There are many places of worship, with the oldest religious place being the Saxon churches of Lady St. Mary. The town is famous for its market held on Thursdays and Saturdays, for which it was named in 2005 as a Fairtrade Town.  The annual carnival in July is also worth attending to enjoy some local flavours!
