The Minster church, from which the name of the town had been derived, dates back to the 1100s.

The beautiful church was built by the Normans; hence the peculiar Norman style can be seen in the architecture. It underwent a lot of changes and modifications over the period.

These changes have beautified the features of this church. Apart from this magnificent church, there are several other churches in the town. Christ Church is the parish church of the town. This came into existence in 1830.

The Dewey Museum is located at the Three Horseshoes Mall in Warminster.

The museum offers a detailed insight of the local history and other fields. One can see a wide range of ancient artefacts in this museum. This is the most famous spot in the town.

Stourhead is an esteemed mansion house located at Stourton in Warminster. The house was opened by Colen Campbell in 1721. The mansion is decorated with the furniture created by Chippendale. Stourton mansion allows visitors to get a glimpse of history and art.
