The Beechen Grove Baptist Church is situated on the Clarendon Road in Watford. This is a modern church with excellent architecture and construction. A number of social activities regularly take place in this church.
Cassiobury Park is a famous nicely preserved wide open space in Watford.
The Grand Union Canal flows through the lower part of the park, while the River Gade runs from the western side. This is a great place for a family outing.
The Pump House Theatre and Arts Centre was a water supply centre in the town. In 1970, it was converted into a theatre where various plays were performed. Later, other activities like arts, crafts and poetry were included along with the theatre.
St. Mary’s Church in Watford is located on Church Street. It served as the central Anglican area for worship. Though the exact period of the construction of the church is unclear, some parts were built in 1230. The 78ft high tower of the church was built in the 15th century.
