Tourist Guide Weston Super Mare:

Weston Super Mare is a famous seaside resort located in the northern area of Somerset County. This civil parish lies on the Bristol Channel, at about 29 kms from Bristol on the south west side.

The town stretches along the coastal area. The highest points in Weston Super Mare are Bleadon Hill and Worlebury Hill.

This place offers magnificent views of the sandy beaches and sea. Sometimes, at low tide, the sea may be one mile away from the beach.

Weston super Mare is densely populated with more that 71,758 inhabitants. The town lies in England’s South-East region. Therefore, it experiences warm summers and mild winters. This is the effect of a maritime tropical climate in the south-west area of England.

Weston super Mare has a population of 70 - 80,000, 2 miles of sandy beaches, easy for walking. A great shopping centre, theatres, cinemas aquarium and great places to dine out. Parks and open spaces. And most of all reasonably prices accommodation. Close to Cheddar, Bristol Brean Wells and just off the M5 J21, Bristol International Airport and Weston Train Station.

It is a reasonable place to visit but not so good in the rain!!! Not a lot to do for families and the elderly!! The pier is excellent and the fun train on the front. Plenty of nice places to eat and sit and relax and look at the rain!! This year is not a good weather wise but when the sun shines Weston is great.

I think Weston Super Mare is absolutely fabulous, lovely place with a really large shopping centre and the Grand Pier which has a lot of entertainment every day & night
