The Irish Sea lies on the northern side, while the River Dee lies on the western side of this borough. The borough of Wirral is formed by a combination of several villages and towns.
The metropolitan area and Liverpool are located in the North West region of England. The area experiences cool summers and mild winters due to the presence of the sea. Tourists can visit at any time throughout the year.
