The Elgar Birthplace Museum was built in 1934 by his daughter Carice, in the memory of her father. Sir Edward Elgar was one of the greatest music composers and was born on 2nd June 1857 in this cottage which is now converted into a museum. The museum displays treasures from the wonderful collection of this great man. There are several photographs, mementoes, music scores, manuscripts, awards, honors and historic films.
