The Ancient Walks of York will lead you through the ghost stories and history of this city. Tales of lost Roman legions, bloody Vikings and tortured souls all await you on our walks. Whether you decide to join us on our historic walk or ghost walk you can rest assured to be amused and horrified by the truly shocking stories of the ages!
If a walking tour is not to your taste why not join us and the ghosts of The Black Swan Inn for a paranormal experience. In the Company of Ghosts offers you the chance to spend either an evening or a whole night in a haunted inn, circ 1417. Full apparitions, poltergeist activity and disembodied voices are a regular occurrence at the inn, to the extent that the landlords and locals casually refer to these experiences as “its just the ghosts”. Join us for a delicious dinner by candle light in a beautifully restored Grade II listed building, where the atmosphere of the inn creates a perfect setting for ghost stories and discussions on the paranormal.
If you would prefer to get to know the ghosts of The Black Swan then why not experience a full night of paranormal investigation in the company of experienced investigators, like-minded people and of course our very own ghosts!
