There are many parks and gardens in York. Flamingo Land is a theme park and a zoo which covers 375 acres of parkland. There are several water rides, a water park, coasters and rides in the park for the entire family. The zoo has more than thousand animals including Sea Lions, Pink Flamingos, Bactrian Camels, Siberian Tigers, Grants Zebras, Humboldt Penguins and others.
