Tourist Guide Bangor
Bangor is located on the southern shores of Belfast Lough with a population of 76000. Bangor is the third largest town in the Northern Ireland ranking after Belfast and Londonderry. Also known to be the richest town in the Northern Ireland though not severely affected by the problems like majority Northern Ireland but it did suffer a few bombs.
The George Best Belfast City Airport is about 15 minutes away and the international airport is approximately 40 minutes from the town. Bangor is well connected by road and rail links as well. The city is best explored by foot with also excellent bus services functional by Translink to every part of the town.
The weather is very tourist friendly and one is lucky to enjoy the driest and sunniest climates in the Ireland region.
The winters are generally not very cold with temperatures up to 7°C (45°F).
