This is the largest sandy beach particularly after the alteration of the marina region during the 1990s. Visitors can decide depending on the tides if the bathers want to walk out to the sea for quite a distance till the water is in the same level as to the waist. In the past few years the beach has become a region for pursuing leisure activities adventurous in nature.

Pickie Family Fun Park

Pickie Family Fun Park is a recent addition in the Bangor Marina and this place has something in store for everyone including a foot deep paddling pool, a mini railway which takes the visitors for a tour around the park and the best among all is the chance to ride a white swan which was Marc Bolan’s dream. Some other features include children’s play area for events like line dancing and karting.
