George Best Belfast City Airport is a single runway airport in Northern Ireland. The airport is located in the capital city of Northern Ireland, Belfast.
The airport was known as Belfast City Airport. Later in 2006, it was named after the popular football association called George Best. The airport serves as the vital base for British Airline called Flybe.
Since the airport is located in the heart of the city of Belfast, all the major tourist spots are easily accessible from the airport.
Local transport is available for traveling from the airport and vise versa. The major roads in Belfast like A2 and the Sydenham By Pass reach the airport.
There is a special Airlink bus service that takes passengers from the airport to the major spots in the city.
However, tourists can take the Metrobus no. 3 that runs between Sydenham and Belfast City Hall.
