Royal Ulster Rifles Museum is situated at (83rd 86th, R. Irish Rifles), 5 Waring Street, Belfast. It is conveniently located behind the war-memorial building.
The museum is operational from 10AM to 12:30pm and 2:00PM to 4:00PM from Monday to Friday. It is closed on Christmas and new-year’s eve. Taking prior appointments is recommended.
The museum consists of an extensive collection of uniforms, medals, badges, regimental memorabilia, wartime souvenirs as well as books and digitized records. Contemporary newspapers, photographs and artifacts are also on display.
This collection in its entirety depicts the Regiment history and the gives idea of the fighting campaigns. Immediately after entering this unique museum, one is filled with pride and admiration for those brave souls who sacrificed their lives for the country.
