Kilkeel being located just by the sea has beaches which offer great touring spots for people to enjoy. The harbour at the Kilkeel holding the province's largest fleet and is the busiest place and attracts many tourists.Just 4 miles away from the town is the Cranfield point, which is known as the European blue Flag beach. It has various attracting markets, children's play area and popular caravan parks for the people to revive from their daily routine.
British Legion is the home of Robert Hill Hanna, a Victorian medal recipient, born near Hanna close to Kilkeel. A museum has been opened in his name which holds his personal sword hung on the wall. Kilkeel in Northern Ireland is mostly loved by the people who are very much interested in nature, people who like rolling hills as well as beautiful lakes come to visit this town. Kilkeel being situated very close to the sea offers tourist a great site for under water diving and seeing the life of underwater creatures.
