Tourist Guide Aberargie

Aberargie is a small village in Scotland. It lies in Kinross and Perth at the head of Glenfarg. This village is at the junction of the A 912 and A 913 roads. It is located 3 kilometers towards the South of Bridge of Earn and 1.5 kilometers towards the West of Abernethy. Also, it is 4 miles ESE of Bridge of Earn. Towards the South of Aberargie and close to Abernethy, a mass of red sandstone can be viewed dipping underneath the trap at the mouth of Glenfarg. It appears that this mass belongs to the Clashbinny rocks. A tiny outer layer of this mass possibly stretches through the opening at Denmiln.

The warmest months are July and August when the temperature varies from 10 to 19 degrees Celsius. The coolest months are January and February when the temperature alters from 0 to 6 degrees Celsius.

The population of Aberargie in 1961 was 52.
