This castle is a typical old fashioned country house but presently is in a ruined state. It formerly served as the home of the McDonalds. It is a seventeenth century structure built in the Scottish Baronial style which makes the castle impressive in looks but not efficient in security. The castle is a huge one and is complemented by the beautiful gardens that surround it.
