Urquhart Castle is at a distance of 10 miles from Beauly. This castle overlooks the water of Loch Ness and is encircled by very impressive Highland scenery. There is a visitor center in this castle where there is an audio-visual display and exhibition. Also, medieval artefacts which were discovered in the castle are also displayed. One can visit the five-storey Grant Tower that offered accommodation for the Lords and their families.
