Tourist Guide Benbecula Island
Benbecula is an island situated on the west coast of Scotland. It is one of the largest islands in the whole of Scotland. Isle of Barra is an island in the south of Scotland which is also large. According to the 2001 census, the population of the island was around 1300. The majority of population on the island is that of Roman Catholics. The island has a rich cultural heritage and many educational centers. Different festivals and cultural activities are organized by the locals every year. The folk dance of the locals of Benbecula is popular all over Scotland. A number of beautiful beaches are there, closer to the island. The island has a number of parks and recreational centers. Also, there are a number of churches in the whole of Benbecula, which are a place of worship for the local people. Benbecula Island is worth visiting at least once because of its scenic beauty.
