The family seat has Kenmure House in parkland with the Bishopbriggs Golf Course at present. Cadder House built in 1654 is now the clubhouse of Cawder Golf Club. Bishopbriggs is also distinguished for its superior villas build by the North British Railway, its art deco 'Garden town on the former Brackenbrae and Balmuildy lands and also for its large scale post-war housing developments.

 

The Trossachs Holiday Park expands to 40 acres together with a magnificent oak bluebell wood which is a sanctuary for wildlife; the south facing countryside terraces grant superb panoramic views for touring caravans and holiday homes. The rocky mountains of the Queen Elizabeth Forest Park presents a wealth of forest tracks and picnic sites, as well as fishing, cycling and hiking, Cobleland has plenty of facilities including children’s play area, shop and disabled facilities. A wonderful site on the eastern coast of Loch Lomond is Ben Lomond towers beyond Cashel.
