Balmacara Estate and Lochalsh Woodland Garden is situated about 10 miles away from Broadford. This is spread over an area of 5616 acres and offers impressive views of Skye and Applecross. Here, there are pleasant sheltered walks near the shores of Loch Alsh. One can view beeches, oaks and mature Scots pine along with hydrangeas, fuchsias, bamboo, ferns and rhododendrons.
