Castle Douglas is located in the south western hemisphere of the state of Scotland. A wealthy man named William Douglas found this city in the mid of 1790. He named the city on his name as he was the proud founder of the city. He strived very hard to bring up the city in the global market and opened several industries in the vicinity of the city. The city is filled with numerous landscapes and is blessed with nature’s beauty. In addition to that the city is also famous for its architecture and infrastructure. These museums display the ancient history of the city in the form of ancient artifacts. Geographically the city of Stoneheaven is not so large and stretches up to 19 square km in area.
