Clydebank can be referred to as a town located in ‘West Dunbartonshire’, within Scotland’s Central Lowlands.
 
Situated on River Clyde’s north bank, this place goes on to border Dumbarton. Clydebank is a portion of registration ‘county of Dumbarton’, ‘Dunbartonshire Crown lieutenancy area’, and office of National Statistics urban area ‘Greater Glasgow’.

Clydebank was founded on 18th of November, 1886 in the form of a ‘police burgh’. Thomson’s ‘Ship builders’ and Beardmores had been amongst the 1st shipyards in Clydebank. Such yards went on to become the most significant ship-building yards in 2oth century; in as well as around Glasgow.

Clydebank can boast of 2 football teams (professional). They are ‘Clydebank F.C.’ and ‘Yoker Athletic F.C’. Both of them have enrolled for Scottish Junior Football Association. The new-fangled ‘Cludebank Football Club’ is said to have sizeable support.
