St Cummien who had built a church in Drumnadrochit has this fort named after the Fort Augustus. The Fort carries with itself a History which depicts the Rule of the kings and their territorial fights. The famous Loch Ness can be viewed from the fort which adds to the attraction of tourists. A Loch Monster story is famous in Scotland and people say that the fort is the place from which it has been sighted the most in the loch. This makes tourists eager to visit the place often in the hope of seeing the monster.
