Near the Stirling Castle, at the King's Park, through olden hunting grounds of Stuart monarchs, the Smith Art Gallery and the Museum is located. It has an excellent collection of paintings, which include the works done by Alexander Nasmyth and John Duncan. It is an area of great picturesque beauty and has always attracted artists. It has one of the most important and remarkable pieces from the Scottish history collections. Other facilities include a hotel for having lunch and refreshments, shops, conference room and free admission.
