Downfield Golf Club is situated at Turnberry Avenue and stretches across 6,803 yards. It is recognized as one of the finest inland golf courses in the United Kingdom. The club is open from 8 am to 11 pm from Monday to Friday. In 1999 the club hosted the Open Finals of the Carnoustie Open Championship. The club has 18 holes and is set among stunning parkland. It has a bar and a restaurant for refreshments.
