Tourist Guide East Kilbride
East Kilbride lies on ‘high ground’ on southern side of Cathkin Braes; at a distance of around 13 Km on the south-eastern side of ‘Glasgow city center’. ‘Rotten Calder’ river goes on to have flown along the settlement’s eastern side, northwards towards River Clyde.
East Kilbride is better known as ‘Polo Mint City’; thanks to its several roundabouts. This place doesn’t lie within ‘Greater Glasgow urban area’, in spite of it being within ‘Greater Glasgow metropolitan area’. Moreover, it’s the 2nd largest town after Paisley.
East Kilbride has been linked with ‘Glasgow City’ center through rail and road. 3 main roads go on to link East Kilbride with adjoining suburbs. ‘First Glasgow’ is ‘primary’ bus operator of this place.
