The main task of ‘Gala House Museum’ is to provide information with regards to the house, early growth, and it inhabitants; apart from displays regarding arts and local heritage.
Abbotsford House
Sir Walter Scott’s mansion makes ways for enormous collection of historic armor and weapons, relics, and around 9000 atypical books. Private Chapel can be visited. As such, visitors can wander through gorgeous gardens, grounds, and woodland talk.

This house remains open between 16th of March and 31st of October from 0930 to 1700 hrs. On Sundays, it would remain open in the 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 10th month of the year from 1100 to 1600 hrs; and from June to September between 0930 and 1700 hrs.
