The Inverness Airport is a public airport situated at Dalcross which is to the north east of Inverness. This international airport has handled passenger traffic of 703,408 in the year 2007. The Inverness airport was previously used by the Royal Air Force during World War II. It was later opened for the public in the year 1947. The airport has a café bar, a restaurant, business and conference facilities, a lounge, ATM and a car hire as well.
