Culloden Battlefield is a town square which marks the site of the 1746 battle between Prince Charles and the Duke of Cumberland. An audio guided tour of the battlefield is available at reasonable rates, and it explains the story of the battle in details. The memorials of the battlefield are preserved in the visitor centre by the National Trust for Scotland.
