Almondell & Calderwood country park in Livingston

Beautiful and tranquil, a piece of paradise in a busy town. This country park is named after the river Almond which flows through the centre of Livingston, the park extends from the East through to the West of the town providing a green belt which can be accessed from any direction.

The park is great for cycling, running and jogging, or just getting your family together for a picnic or a BBQ in the designated areas (permit required). There is a wonderful array of trees, flowers and other plants to paint, photograph or just to admire.
