Reviews Burns House
Burns House
This house lacks the palatial looks of a palace or great architecture but still remains as a popular tourist spot. It is a simple building made up of sandstone and lies in an un-happening Dumfries street. It remains as a structure in memory of Robert Burns, who was Scotland’s national poet and who spent the last year of his life in this house. This also serves as a museum for the poet’s clothes and works that are on display here.
