- Montrose golf courses and the Trail Pavillon
- Its extraordinay beach with, here and there, the typical sand dunes and not far away a camping area.
- The House of Dun, part of the National Trust, not far from the city centre
- Montrose Air Station Museum, offers a display of its old station prosperous times
- Music at the Links Hotel Montrose, a sort of Concert Hall, where can be enjoyed nearly any kind of music from rock & country to jazz & blues, of course, but classical music is there, too!
