The famous museum Grampian Transport Museum is situated in the village of Alford that is 37 km to the west of Aberdeen. It is considered to be a treasure house for transport history with lots of things to be done and seen. Dramatic displays and attractive video presentations immensely state the history of road travel in this locality. Exhibitions are changed almost regularly thus providing the visitors with new things to see. It is a lovely museum with many events and activities taking place throughout the year.
