At a distance of 5 miles from Nethy Bridge, the Grantown Museum is located. This museum depicts the story of the people and structures in Grantown-on-Spey. In Grantown, the Burnfield House was constructed to start the Female School. James Ross Burgess purchased it in 1890. This house was used for several purposes until 1995, when it was bought by the Grantown Museum and Heritage Trust and a museum was opened in this structure.
